My fee depends on the event and the degree to which you want me to be involved. Most of my clients find that my fees are well covered in the savings I can offer on the venue, flowers, décor, and catering. I will work with you any way I can to make sure your needs and your budget are met.   I offer a wide variety of services including complete planning services, partial planning services, floral design,  day-of coordination, and decor rental.  This allows you to design your event within your budget.  Just tell me what you want and I will help you design around your budget. 

The caterer and facility coordinator have different responsibilities from an event planner. The facility coordinator is responsible for the facility – lights, temperature, and security. Normally, the caterer is responsible for the food and serving staff only. The planner’s responsibilities involve making sure that the vendors have delivered the product and that it is correct, the venue is decorated, the timetable is followed, and generally ensuring that the hosts are enjoying the event instead of worrying about the details.

A list of your ideas for the event always helps. Think about the overall theme and feel that you want; then the type of food/catering, the venue, flowers, and music. This will give us a good starting point from which to work.

All of my services are available a la carte as well.  I have many décor options for rent and will gladly do floral arrangements or table settings. I can provide set up and tear down as well.  We can talk about your ideas and needs and go from there!

Certainly! I have lived and worked in the Austin area for many years and have experience with the local vendors and venues and frequently work with clients who must plan remotely. We can communicate via phone, email, or video chat.  You can be assured you will be as involved in the process as you wish and that it will be your event regardless of your location.

I will be as involved as you want me to be.  I can be there from the concept, design, and planning till the last guest leaves – if that’s what you want.  How involved I am is determined by you.

The first step is gathering the basic details about your event – who, what, where, when, and budget.

After I have a firm idea of what you need and want, I will make suggestions based on your budget and timeline.  From there we can make any changes or additions you wish. The final decisions are always made by the client.
